Why is time passing by faster every year?

Every year I realized that the clock ticks faster than normal, figuratively speaking. Before, I needed to wait a lot for an hour to pass, but now it passes by like minutes and I need to watch out to not run late on a date.. Am I the only one who thinks this, or do you too?
