How to send multiple parcels in the uk for cheap?

I work for a book shop and we send out around 30 parcels a day using a royal mail online business account. Some of the costs of the parcels, due to the weights, are very high and I was wondering whether any one else is in the same position that can help in reducing the cost by either changes to our royal mail account or using a different company. Please help if you can, thanks.
